Ingredients
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 1 c. Crisco
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 c. boiling water
- 6 c. flour
Directions

1Mix dry yeast and 1 cup warm water.

2Set aside.

3With mixer, mix Crisco, sugar and salt, then add the beaten eggs.

4Stir in boiling water and the yeast mixture.

5Add flour.

6Knead for 8 minutes.

7Put in greased bowl; let rise for 2 hours.

8Roll out thin and cut in strips 2 or 3 inches long.

9Dip each piece in melted butter and cross up in Bundt pan.

10Let rise 2 hours.

11Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
