- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. butter, melted
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 3 1/2 c. plain flour
Directions

1Combine milk, 1/2 cup of butter, sugar and salt in saucepan. Heat until butter is melted.

2Cool.

3Stir in yeast until dissolved.

4Place flour in a large bowl.

5Make a well in flour and pour in liquid.

6Stir until blended.

7Cover and let rise until doubled in bulk (1 1/2 hours).

8Turn dough out onto a floured surface.

9Roll 1/2 inch thick; cut into 3-inch squares.

10Dip each square in remaining butter and layer in tube or Bundt pan; let rise 3/4 hour.

11Bake at 375° for 30 to 40 minutes.
