Monterey Jack Bread

  • 3 loaves French bread, cut lengthwise
  • 1 1/2 c. butter
  • garlic salt to taste
  • 9 oz. chopped green chilies, drained
  • 3/4 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
  • 1 1/2 c. mayonnaise

Directions

    Preheat oven to 400°.

    Melt butter in saucepan and add garlic salt and green chilies.
  3. 3
    Mix cheese and mayonnaise.

    Spread butter mixture on bread, then spread cheese and mayo mixture on top of this.

    Place on cookie sheet and bake, uncovered, for 20 minutes. Slice into serving pieces.
