- 2 or 3 lb. moose stew meat
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 soup can white wine
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- mushrooms as desired (any kind)
- 1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
- cooked noodles or rice
- cornstarch (if needed)
Directions

1Set oven to 300°.

2In a large ovenproof container, mix meat, soup, wine and soup mix.

3Cover and place in oven for as long as you wish (no less than 2 hours and no more than 4 hours).

4Remove from oven; stir in mushrooms and sour cream.

5If mixture is too thin, stir in 2 tablespoons cornstarch, dissolved in a little water, and simmer slightly.

6Serve over noodles or rice.
