Ingredients

  • 2 cups SR flour
  • 2 teaspoons Moroccan spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 30g butter
  • 1 cup grated carrot
  • 3/4 -1 cup low fat milk
  • Topping
  • 125g PHILADELPHIA Spreadable Cream Cheese
  • zest of 1 lemon Safeway 4 ct For $5.00 thru 02/09
  • 1/2 teaspoon smokey paprika

Directions

    Sift dry ingredients into a bowl, rub in butter.

    Fold through carrot and milk until a soft sticky dough is formed.

    Knead on a floured surface until smooth.

    Roll to form a rectangle 20 x 30 cm, spread with Philly* and sprinkle over the lemon rind and paprika.

    Roll up on the longest side, as for a Swiss roll.

    Cut into 3 cm slices and place cut side up on a greased baking tray.

    Bake at 200C for 15- 20 minutes or until golden.
