  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 c. (one 1 lb. can) tomatoes
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 8 oz. mostaccioli noodles, cooked and drained
  • 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, thinly sliced
  • Kraft grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Heat oven to 350°.

    Brown meat; add green pepper and onion. Cook until tender.

    Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, water and seasonings.

    In a 2-quart casserole, layer half the noodles, meat sauce and Velveeta cheese; repeat layers.

    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

    Bake 30 minutes.
