Mother'S Pineapple Pie

  • 4 eggs, separated (set whites aside)
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/3 c. melted oleo

Directions

    Preheat oven to 400°.

    Beat egg whites first.

    Set aside. Combine all other ingredients. Add egg whites last. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Lower heat to 350° and bake until done.

    Makes two 9-inch pies.
