- 2 qt. (1/2 gal.) sweet apple cider
- 1 tsp. whole cloves
- 1 tsp. whole allspice
- dash of nutmeg
- 3 inches stick cinnamon
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar (brown or white)
Directions

1Put cider in large pan.

2Put all the spices in large tea bag, strainer or cheesecloth; boil for 10 to 20 minutes.

3Remove spices.

4Can be stored and reheated later.

5Serve hot with orange slices as floaters.

6Makes about 10 to 16 cups.
