Ingredients: 1 box Angel food cake mix; 1 tsp grated lemon or orange peel; 8 drops red food coloring; 8 drops orange food coloring; 8 drops yellow food coloring; 2/3 cup powdered sugar; 2 tbsp butter, melted; 1 tbsp Lemon or orange juice

1 box Angel food cake mix
1 tsp grated lemon or orange peel
8 drops red food coloring
8 drops orange food coloring
8 drops yellow food coloring
2/3 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 tbsp Lemon or orange juice

Prepare cake mix as directed on box, except add lemon peel.

Divide batter evenly among 3 bowls.

Fold one food color into each of the batters.

Spoon red batter into ungreased angel food cake pan 10x4.

Spread evenly.

Spoon orange batter over red batter.

Spread evenly.

Spread yellow batter on top.

Spread evenly.

Bake & cool according to directions on box.

For the glaze, mix sugar & butter.

Stir in 1 tbsp of juice.

An add additional juice 1 tsp at a time until desired consistency is reached.

Drizzle glaze over cake.

Garnish with decorators' candy if desired.
