  • 1 1/4 cups mung bean highly recommend to buy mung bean without skin
  • 4 5/8 tablespoons butter
  • 7 ounces caster suger

    Soak mung beans into water for 6 hours

    Remove the skin of mung beans

    Cook mung beans for half hour

    Melt the butter

    Use blender to blend the mung beans

    Use medium heat to stir fry mung beans and butter

    Add the caster sugar, keep stir frying until the mung bean paste becomes dry

    Cool the mung bean paste

    Take 30g of mung bean paste for a portion, and use moon cake mould to make mung bean cake

    Put the mung bean cakes in fridge for 2 hours
