Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, quartered
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 beef-flavored bouillon cube
- 1/2 c. hot water
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- dash of pepper
- 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Saute mushrooms in 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes.

2Drain well.

3Dissolve bouillon cube in hot water and set aside.

4Melt 1/4 cup butter in a small saucepan.

5Add flour and stir until smooth.

6Blend in pepper, whipping cream and bouillon.

7Stir into mushrooms.

8Pour mixture into a greased 1-quart casserole.

9Top with bread crumbs and cheese.

10Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes.

11Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
