Ingredients

  • 2 lb. peppers, after cleaned and seed removed
  • 2 lb. onions, after skins removed
  • 2 cans lima beans
  • 2 cans corn
  • 1 qt. pickles, chopped fine
  • 2 lb. sugar
  • 1 pt. vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. turmeric
  • 3 Tbsp. mustard
  • 4 Tbsp. flour

    Chop peppers and onions fine.

    Cook them separate; drain.

    Put in kettle with next 7 ingredients.

    Bring to boil. Mix the last 3 ingredients with water to make paste.

    Pour in with other ingredients and boil 5 minutes.

    Stir because it will stick quick. Put in jars and seal.

    Makes about 10 pints.
