- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 c. plus 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla, divided
- 1 (9-inch) pie shell, unbaked
- 1 1/4 c. pecans, coarsely chopped
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1In a food processor, process until fluffy the cream cheese, 1 egg, 1/3 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread the mixture in the bottom of the shell.

2Sprinkle the pecans over the cheese mixture.

3Beat the remaining 3 eggs with an electric mixer until foamy. Do not overmix.

4Add the corn syrup, the remaining 1/4 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla and the salt.

5Mix well.

6Pour this over the pecans.

7Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 40 minutes.

8Serve warm or cold.
