  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. broken nuts
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans fruit cocktail, undrained

Directions

    Sift dry ingredients, except brown sugar and nuts, into mixing bowl.

    Combine eggs, vanilla and fruit cocktail.

    Add to dry ingredients; mix well.

    Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle top with brown sugar and nuts.

    Bake in 325° oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
