Ingredients

  • 3- 1/2 ounces, weight Tortilla Chips, About 30 Round Chips
  • 3- 1/2 ounces, weight Cheddar Cheese, Grated
  • 3- 1/2 ounces, weight Shredded, Fully Cooked Chicken Breast, Optional Ingredient
  • 1/2 cups Black Beans
  • 2 Tablespoons Diced Red Or White Onion
  • 1/2 cups Sliced Black Olives
  • 1/2 whole Avocado, Peeled, Pitted, And Diced
  • 1/4 cups Sliced Pickled Jalapenos, More To Taste
  • 1 cup Shredded Lettuce
  • 1/4 cups Sour Cream
  • Sliced Green Onion, Chopped Cilantro For Garnish, Optional
  • 1/2 cups Fresh Salsa, If Desired

Directions

    Preheat oven to 375 F. Chop or grate ingredients if necessary at this time.

    Place tortilla chips on a baking sheet in an even layer, placing them close together but not overlapping.

    Top chips in the following order with: cheese, chicken and beans.

    Bake in the preheated oven for about 4 minutes, or until cheese is melted.

    Remove from oven.

    Top with remaining ingredients: onion, olive, avocado, jalapeno, shredded lettuce and dollops of sour cream.

    Garnish with green onion and cilantro, if desired.

    Serve immediately.
