  • 3/4 stick butter or margarine
  • 4 eggs
  • 2/3 c. white sugar
  • 2/3 c. dark Karo syrup
  • 2/3 c. light Karo syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. chopped pecans
  • 2 regular pie shells (unbaked)

Directions

    Melt butter.

    Whip eggs.

    Whip eggs into sugar, Karo syrups and vanilla.

    Add melted butter and salt.

    Place chopped pecans in bottom of 2 pie shells.

    Pour mixture on top of nuts.

    Bake at 375° until brown, approximately 35 minutes.
