- 2 tablespoons butter
- 12 cup celery, chopped
- 14 cup onion, chopped
- 14 cup pecans, chopped coarsely
- 14 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon rubbed sage
- 12 teaspoon marjoram
- 4 cups dry bread cubes
- 1 egg
- 12 cup chicken broth
Directions

1Melt butter over low medium heat.

2Add celery and onions and saute until vegetables are soft, but not browned.

3Add pecans,pepper, sage and marjoram.

4Stir to combine and remove from heat.

5Beat egg with chicken broth and pour over bread cubes.

6Stir to combine and add butter mixture.

7Fold together gently until well mixed.

8Spoon dressing into a buttered casserole pan, cover, and bake at 375F for 35 minutes.

9Uncover for last 10 minutes if you like a crisp top.
