  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. milk

Directions

    Cut shortening into flour; add beaten egg.

    Add salt and milk.

    Dough should be sticky.

    Pinch off a bit and knead with flour; roll out, cut into pieces and drop into boiling broth.

    Punch dumplings into broth with spoon.
