  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  • 1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
  • 1 c. nuts, chopped (optional)

Directions

    Melt butter in heavy 2-quart saucepan.

    Stir in milk and sugar.

    Bring to full boil, stirring constantly.

    Continue boiling over medium heat until mixture reaches 234° or soft ball stage, stirring constantly, to prevent scorching.
