- 4 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 - 13 oz. can evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 18 oz. chocolate chips
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Mix together sugar and cream of tartar.

2Add evaporated milk and vanilla.

3Mix well.

4Heat on medium temperature until it reaches a rolling boil, stirring constantly.

5Boil for 6 minutes. Remove from heat and pour into bowl containing butter and chocolate chips.

6Beat until thick.

7Add chopped nuts and spread into a 9 X 13 pan.

8Refrigerate.

9Cut into bite size pieces.
