- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Beat the egg whites and cream of tartar in a bowl until fluffy.

2Add the sugar gradually and beat until stiff peaks form. Add the vanilla and beat well.

3Spread on pie so that meringue touches edge of crust.

4Bake in a 400° oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until brown.
