- 3 c. flour
- 1 1/4 c. vegetable shortening
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. vinegar
Directions

1Mix the flour, shortening, sugar and salt with pastry blender. Beat the egg.

2Add the water and vinegar to the egg and mix well. Combine the two mixtures, a little at a time, until all the dry ingredients are moist.

3Mold together with your hands.

4Makes 2 double crust 9-inch pies and one 9-inch shell.

5May keep in refrigerator up to 1 week.

6May freeze.
