Never Fail Pie Crust

- 1 cup lard (Crisco)
- 3 cups sifted flour
- 1 egg beaten
- 5 Tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Sift flour and salt together.

2Cut lard into flour with two butter knives, or pastry utensil.

3Combine remaining ingredients and pour over flour slowly while mixing with a fork.

4Mix together until all is moistened.

5Make into 2 or 3 balls (depending on how thick you like your crust)

6Handle as little as possible and use a minimum of flour when rolling out.

7Bake at 425 degree for pre-baked crust.

8Makes 2 or 3 pie crusts or 2 crusts and lattice top for one pie.
