  • 2 c. lukewarm water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 4 1/2 c. flour

Directions

    Beat water, sugar, yeast, 2 cups flour and salt until smooth. Add eggs, oil and 4 1/2 cups flour.

    Mix thoroughly.

    Let rise 40 minutes.

    Punch down.

    Knead on floured board.

    Shape into rolls. Let rise 40 minutes.

    Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.

    Butter tops. These may be frozen and keep well.
