Never Fail Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 6 to 7 yellow summer squash
  • approximately 1/2 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • couple eggs, beaten
  • bread crumbs
  • dash of Worcestershire sauce

Directions

    Wash and cut off ends of squash.

    Slice and boil along with chopped onion for about 30 to 45 minutes or until done; strain. Put cooked squash and onions in mixing bowl.

    Add butter, salt and pepper, beaten eggs, bread crumbs and dash of Worcestershire sauce; mix well.

    Pour into casserole dish and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
