- 1 c. warm water
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 3/4 c. cooking oil
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 5 c. self-rising flour
Directions

1Mix the water, yeast and sugar.

2Stir to dissolve; add the oil, buttermilk, soda and salt.

3Mix well.

4Add the flour one cup at a time, mixing well after each cup.

5Cover mixing bowl with a plate or foil and refrigerate overnight or a few hours.

6Each time you wish to use some, stir dough lightly; cut off the amount you want.

7Knead on floured board or wax paper.

8Cut off rolls and bake at 450° until brown, about 15 minutes.
