  • 2 onions chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 2 pounds pork cubed
  • 1 cup hominy
  • 1 cup chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons oregano

Directions

    In a large saucepan saute onions in oil, then brown pork.

    Add remaining ingredients and simmer, covered until pork is tender, about 4 hours.

    Serve in bowls, as soup, with crackers or warmed flour tortillas.
