  • 3/4 c. pitted dried prunes
  • 3/4 c. pitted whole dates
  • 1/2 c. dried apricots
  • 1/2 c. blanched whole almonds
  • 1/4 c. raisins
  • 2 Tbsp. frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 2 tsp. honey or molasses
  • 1 1/4 c. coconut

Directions

    Using a food processor or food grinder with a coarse blade, grind together dried prunes, whole dates, dried apricots, almonds and raisins.

    Turn ground mixture into a mixing bowl and add frozen orange juice concentrate and honey or molasses.

    Stir until well combined.

    Shape mixture into balls and roll in coconut. Store tightly covered in refrigerator.

    Yields 36 balls.
