  • 1 c. pecans, chopped fine
  • 3 egg whites
  • 20 vanilla wafers
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Chop fine or grind pecans.

    Crumble wafers.

    Mix them well with sugar.

    Beat egg whites until stiff (peaks).

    Add to dry ingredients; mix well.

    Pour mixture into well buttered glass pie pan.

    Cook in a preheated 350° oven for 25 or 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
