Ingredients
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 1/2 c. lukewarm milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 c. cooking oil
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- melted butter or margarine
- sugar and cinnamon (1 c. to 1 Tbsp.)
Directions

1Mix as for any bread dough.

2Let rise in covered bowl in warm place until double in bulk, about 1 hour.

3Roll out and cut with 2 1/2-inch cutter.

4Lay out on bread board.

5Brush with melted butter and let rise about 20 minutes.

6Heat oven to 425° and bake donuts about 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.

7Remove from oven and brush again with melted butter.

8Shake in plastic bag with sugar and cinnamon.

9These are fine and no grease like fried ones.
