  • 1 c. margarine or cooking oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 c. chopped apples
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

  1. 1
    Cream margarine and sugar. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients; add to sugar mixture. Add apples and nuts; mix thoroughly. Bake in 9 x 13-inch cake pan at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes. Use whip cream for frosting.
