- 1 pork shoulder, picnic or 1 boston butt
- 1 12 cups cider vinegar
- 1 12 cups brown sugar
- 1 (8 ounce) bottlefavorite barbecue sauce
Directions

1Remove fatback from pork.

2Add just enough cider vinegar to slow cooker to cover bottom.

3Place fat side down in crock pot on high.

4Sprinkle generously with brown sugar.

5Cook 2 hours then reduce heat to low and turn meat over.

6Sprinkle with more brown sugar.

7Cook additional 4-6 hours or until meat easily falls apart when pulled with fork.

8Drain juice/fat off meat.

9Shred pork with fork, add remaining cider vinegar and brown sugar.

10Cook additional 30 minutes.

11Add favorite BBQ sauce to taste!

12You won't need much sauce - the meat is so tender and tasty alone you will be amazed!

13Serve it up with rolls for sandwiches or alone with slaw and beans.
