Norwegian Ale Soup

  • 2 c. ale or beer
  • 4 c. water
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 Tbsp. cream
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. crisply toasted cubes white bread

Directions

    Beat ale, water, eggs and cream in saucepan and bring to boil. Add the sugar; stir constantly.

    Garnish with toast cubes. Serves 4.
