- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 1 c. diced apples
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°. Beat egg, sugar, vanilla, salt and baking powder together until smooth and fluffy.

2Beat in flour until smooth and well blended.

3Stir in walnuts and apples.

4Turn into a lightly greased 8-inch pie plate and bake 30 minutes.

5Pie will puff up as it cooks, then collapse as it cools.

6Serve topped with whipped dessert topping or ice milk.
