  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1 c. diced apples

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°. Beat egg, sugar, vanilla, salt and baking powder together until smooth and fluffy.

    Beat in flour until smooth and well blended.

    Stir in walnuts and apples.

    Turn into a lightly greased 8-inch pie plate and bake 30 minutes.

    Pie will puff up as it cooks, then collapse as it cools.

    Serve topped with whipped dessert topping or ice milk.
