Ingredients: 1 (15 oz.) can refried beans; 4 oz. cream cheese, softened; 1 1/2 c. sour cream; 1 bunch green onions, finely chopped; 3/4 c. picante sauce; 1 packet taco seasoning; 1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies; 1/2 tsp. crushed oregano; salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste; 1 1/2 c. grated cheese (Monterey Jack and/or Cheddar)

Shells are used if serving escargot on stainless steel plates. If ceramic escargot plates are used, no shells or tongs are required.
