- 1 lb. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 8 oz. (1/2 lb.) candied pineapple
- 1/2 lb. candied cherries
- 6 eggs
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 4 c. plain flour
- 1 lb. pecans
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add beaten eggs.

3Add 3 cups flour, baking powder and salt.

4Add vanilla.

5Mix remaining cup flour with fruit and nuts.

6Stir into batter.

7Pour in greased and paper-lined tube pan.

8Bake at 250° for 3 hours.

9Let cool in pan.
