- 2 c. sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 1/2 lb. butter or oleo
- 6 eggs
- 1 c. fresh coconut, grated
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 wine glass whiskey
- 1 qt. pecans
- 1 box seeded raisins
- 1 box dates
- 1/4 lb. cherries
- 1/4 lb. glaced pineapple
Directions

1Cream sugar and butter together; add eggs, beaten slightly. Sift flour with baking powder (use some of flour mixture with cut up fruit).

2Add flour and whiskey; add nuts and coconut.

3Stir. Add floured fruits and fold in.

4Using Bundt pan, lightly greased and floured, bake in slow oven at 300° for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

5Test with cake tester.

6Toothpick should come out clean.
