- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 c. self-rising flour
- 8 eggs
- 4 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped
- vanilla extract
Directions

1Cream margarine and sugar.

2Add eggs one at a time.

3Add only 3 cups of the flour slowly; add vanilla.

4Put remaining cup of flour on nuts; toss, then add to cake batter.

5Bake in a 10-inch tube pan at 325° for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
