- 1 c. (2 sticks) butter or margarine
- 3/4 c. 10x confectioners powdered sugar
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. finely chopped pecans or walnuts
- 10x sugar
Directions

1Beat butter or margarine in large bowl with electric mixer at high speed until fluffy.

2Add the 3/4 cup of 10x sugar, flour and vanilla.

3Mix well.

4Blend in nuts.

5Shape dough into 3-inch logs. Place, 1-inch apart, on cookie sheet.

6Bake in slow oven at 325° for 25 minutes or until pale golden brown.

7Roll in 10x sugar while still hot.

8Cool on wire racks.

9Roll cooled cookies again in sugar to coat evenly.
