Ingredients
- 4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. soft margarine (1/2 lb.)
- 4 egg yolks
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
Directions

1Grease cookie sheets.

2Mix yeast with 1/4 cup warm water, then add sugar and small amount of sour cream to ferment.

3Add oleo to salt and flour in a large bowl and mix until crumbly.

4Add egg yolks, yeast mixture and remainder of sour cream; mix well.

5Form into ball; turn out on board sprinkled lightly with flour.

6Knead until smooth, about 5 to 10 minutes.

7Divide dough into 6 equal parts.

8Wrap in waxed paper.

9Chill at least 3 hours or overnight. On board sprinkle with sugar, roll each part into a 12-inch circle. Cut into 12 triangles.

10Spread with Walnut Filling.

11Roll up and bake until golden brown at 350°, about 25 minutes.

12When cool, dust with confectioners sugar (optional).

13Makes 6 dozen.
