- 1/4 lb. soft butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 pt. sour cream
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 cake yeast
- 5 to 5 1/2 c. flour
- 2 lb. walnuts, chopped fine
- 1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.

2Mix butter, sugar, sour cream, egg yolks and flour with the yeast and water.

3Mix dough well and let it rise for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

4Mix nuts and confectioners sugar together.

5Beat 4 egg whites until stiff and add to nut mixture.

6If too thick, add a little milk.

7Roll dough 1/8-inch thick and spread with nut mixture.

8Roll tight.
-
9Let rise again until double in size.

10Bake in a greased pan at 350° for about 20 or 25 minutes.

11Makes 2 rolls.

12Can be iced.
