  • 1 12 lbs hamburger (very lean)
  • 1 (28 ounce) can marinara sauce
  • 1 (3 7/8 ounce) can olives, sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 red pepper, diced
  • 5 white mushrooms, sliced
  • 12 white onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Directions

    Add olive oil to a fry pan and heat to medium.

    Saute garlic in the oil for about 3 minutes.

    Add the pepper, mushrooms, onion, tomato paste, olives, and seasoning to the garlic and saute for another 5 minutes.

    Add meat or alternative and thoroughly mix.

    Cook over medium-high heat until the meat is done.

    Add marinara sauce, cover, and let simmer on medium-low heat for about 10 minutes.
