- 1 c. quick oats
- 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 3 c. boiling water
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 6 c. flour
Directions

1Combine oats, whole wheat flour, sugar, salt and margarine. Pour over the boiling water and stir.

2Dissolve yeast in the warm water.

3When batter is cooled to lukewarm, add yeast.

4Stir in the white flour; knead 10 minutes.

5Let rise well the first time, then punch down and shape into loaves.

6Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
