- 2 c. rolled oats
- 4 tsp. shortening
- 1 c. dark molasses
- 4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 1/2 c. wheat germ (optional)
- 10 to 12 c. flour
- 2 pkg. yeast or 2 cakes
