Ingredients
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 c. rolled oats
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. honey
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 1/2 tsp. salt
- 5 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water.

2Add oats to boiling water.

3Cool slightly.

4Add honey, margarine and salt.

5When lukewarm, add yeast and stir in flour.

6Add additional flour as you knead mixture until it is not sticky.

7Place back in bowl. Cover and let rise until twice the size.

8Knead again and form 2 loaves.

9Place in greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans.

10Cover and let rise again.

11Bake at 450° for 15 minutes or 375° for 30 minutes.
