  • 1 1/4 c. boiling water
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 1/3 c. cake flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeats
  • 2 eggs

Directions

    Mix oats, oleo and boiling water and let stand for 20 minutes. Add sugar, brown sugar and eggs.

    Sift flour, salt and soda and add.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
