  • 1 1/3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/4 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

    Place oats in water and let stand for 10 minutes.

    Cream oleo and sugar.

    Mix with oats and add eggs.

    Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.

    Bake cake at 350° for 35 minutes.
