• 1 c. quick cook oats
• 1 stick oleo or butter
• 1 1/2 c. boiling water
• 1 3/4 c. flour
• 1 tsp. soda
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp. cinnamon
• 1 tsp. nutmeg
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1/2 tsp. salt
