  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. dark corn syrup
  • 1 c. quick cooking oats
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

    Add cinnamon, cloves and salt; stir in syrup.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Stir in oats.

    Pour filling into pie shell.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until knife inserted in center of pie comes out clean. Oatmeal forms chewy, nutty crust on top.
