Octopus With Wine

  • 1 kg octopus
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 2 cups red wine
  • 1 onion chopped
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 cup water
  • parsley

Directions

    if the octopus is frozen you leave it one night to refrigerator.

    you take a saucepan, you put in the octopus, the olive oil, the onion, the wine, bit of salt and pepper, the water.

    you cover the saucepan and you boil it in medium heat for about 40min to 1.20 hours, depends from the octopus.

    when the octopus is soft, it is ready. you takeing it out of the saucepan , you cutting it in small pieces and in a small bowl you put it in with a bit of vinegar and origan , parsley choped, and few drops of olive oil.

    you can eat it also with lettuce salad, with spagetti or other pasta.
